Upcoming Performances

The Vermont Fiddle Orchestra (VFO) will take the stage at the Chandler Center for the Arts on Sunday, April 12th at 4:00 PM. The orchestra will perform tunes from Scotland, Ireland, Scandinavia and Appalachia, as well as a Sephardic waltz, two tunes composed by Peter Macfarlane, and a haunting air composed by Peter’s wife, Viveka Fox. Additionally, the concert will feature performances by three smaller ensembles of orchestra members, one of which is composed of members who have attained the lofty status of octogenarian.

The VFO is delighted to once again be led by Peter Macfarlane as Music Director and Susan Reid as Assistant Music Director. Admission is by donation. The VFO is grateful for its generous sponsors: Vermont Violins, Vermont Mutual Insurance Company and Northfield Savings Bank.
